Allama Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi was a Shia scholar and preacher, religious leader, public speaker, and Urdu poet. Allama Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi is mostly known as Laddan Jafri. He was also president at Mir Anees Academy and chief editor of quarterly magazine Al-Qalam.
He was born in Lucknow in 1944 to Syeda Mohsina Zahir Naqvi and Syed Zahir Hasan Naqvi. His birthname or real name was Zamer Hasan. He was born in Lucknow, India and he migrated to Pakistan in 1967 and settled in Karachi.
Sunday, He had sufferend a Heart Attack saturday night and was immediately shifted to Agha Khan Hospital, Where he took his last breaths. His body has been taken to Ancholi Imambargah where his Funeral will be held after Maghrib Prayers.
