Friday August 24, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood while talking on media confirmed that the educational institutions shall be reopened on September 15.
Some private school and colleges have been making announcements about opening of educational institutions due to which many people were confused about the confirmed date of reopening. However, Shafqat Mahmood as a Federal Education Minister confirmed that Educational Instituions would be open from September 15, after having a review on the current situation of Covid-19.
He said that a coference of inter-provincial education ministers will be held on Septermber 7 to discuss the Covid-19 Situation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the schools and other educational instituions. He also said they will further see the possibilities of opening the schools on September 15 that either the educational instituions shall be opened on September 15 with SOPs or they shall remain closed until the Covid-19 is completely gone.
